Several times a year church volunteers create lunches for the NOAH Project at Central United Methodist Church (Detroit). NOAH stands for “Networking, Organizing and Advocating for the Homeless.” The Bag Lunch Program offers not just a meal, but a safe place for people to get to know the mission of NOAH: empowering low income and homeless Detroiters to achieve stability by serving as the first step on the journey to self sufficiency.
