Advent Studies

An Unlikely Advent: Extraordinary People of the Christmas Story by Rachel Billups

This four-week study focuses on four sets of often overlooked characters in the Nativity story. The author guides readers through the themes of hope, love, joy, and peace by sharing the stories of Elizabeth and Zechariah, Herod, the Magi, and the shepherds. Each set of unexpected characters has something to teach about living faithfully on the journey to Christmas. Share this special time with a small group study. Book are available in the Brighton Campus Library and at the Whitmore Lake Campus Upper Hall ($13.50).
Wednesdays at 7 pm, Nov. 20, Dec. 4, 11, 18
