Enjoy an evening of laughter and help provide clean water for the world! Comedian Chris Young shares his unique spin on real life experiences and turns them into laughs. The Comedy Show is family friendly show and appropriate for teens through adults. Opening Act Tim Palmer brings southern charm to midwest comedy with a clean brand of storytelling humor. Special guest Krista Dover, Executive Director of Clean Water for the World, will explain how water purifiers are helping to provide clean water in countries around the world. Four of these water purifiers will be installed in the Readers to Leaders Schools in Liberia when the church goes there next February.

Chris Young’s luck (or lacks there of) have lead him to look at the world through a different set of glasses. Having once been called a pessimist by a fellow classmate, he replied simply, that he is “not a pessimist but a optimist, as he believes things could not get any worse!”
A frequent performer at clubs, colleges and casino’s as well as corporate shows around the country, Chris has appeared at the Gilda’s Laughfest in Grand Rapids, the Laughing Skull Festival and the Canton Comedy Festival. His Dry Bar Special has millions of views. He was the winner of the TV20 Detroit “That’s Funny” Comedy Contest on My Network, as well as a finalist in Dave Coulier’s “Clean Guys of Comedy/Unbleepable Contest.” Chris is also a favorite on radio stations all across the country. He has shared the stage with some of his favorite comics, including Bob and Tom’s Mike Armstrong, Larry Reeb, Heywood Banks, and Dave Coulier.
He credits his family and God for giving him his quick wit and ability to laugh. Chris and his family worship online with First UMC-Brighton & Whitmore Lake.
