Annual Sock Drive

January – February 2025

Community Connect helps those in Livingston County who are struggling. Socks are a much needed item that helps people who need it. Please consider donating by the end of January to help our neighbors. Our goal is collect and give away 1400 pairs of socks.

Over the years, First United Methodist Church has given away over 12,000 pairs of socks and hundreds of soup kits.

Thank you to everyone who donated during the January 2024 sock drive. First UMC gathered 1,272 pairs of socks. The Howell Library also had a sock drive and donated 686 pairs. In addition, another donor dropped off more socks for a total of 2,178 socks! Socks are always an item people are grateful to receive at the annual Community Connect event.
